I had some 'chill' time out bush yesterday, gathering materials, exploring for new caves and art sites, and also clearing a path to our ASI survival courses cave.
I gathered loads of resin for hafting, from a dead grass tree, and a 2nd T-shirt I was wearing came in handy for collection.
We are so fortunate in Australia to have such awesome materials available for bush crafting. I still make new discoveries regarding plant use materials.
I have also found yet another brilliant friction fire timber, as light as balsa wood, and as firm as Xanthorhhoea, and very easy to find straight pieces. And no, I'm not putting the name out there.
